1. Application
This precision special-shaped cavity mounting base is a core
mounting carrier customized for industrial automation sensor modules, small motor end covers and internal components of optical inspection equipment. With an integrated cavity structure, it undertakes the
positioning, protection and fixation of precision components,
perfectly adapting to high-cleanliness, high-stability industrial
working conditions. It is widely used in automated production line
inspection units, small servo motor end covers, internal components
of medical testing instruments and other scenarios, providing
reliable structural support and protection for precision
components.
2. Material & Performance
Core Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy (industry-standard precision machining
aluminum alloy, adapting to the lightweight and structural strength
requirements of this part)
Key Performance:
- Tensile strength ≥310MPa, yield strength ≥276MPa, with excellent
fatigue resistance and dimensional stability
- Density is only 2.7g/cm³, realizing lightweight design of equipment
while ensuring structural rigidity
- Natural corrosion resistance, can adapt to conventional industrial
environments without additional coating, fully complying with RoHS
and REACH environmental protection standards
- Excellent thermal conductivity, can assist internal components in
heat dissipation and improve equipment operation stability
3. Processing Method
This part adopts 3-axis linkage CNC high-speed precision milling process, integrally cutting and forming from a solid aluminum bar,
ensuring the integrity and sealing of the cavity structure.
- Core processes: large-size cavity milling, special-shaped contour
processing, high-precision drilling/tapping, bottom positioning
groove processing
- Auxiliary processes: high-gloss contour chamfering, deburring,
surface brushing treatment, ensuring no sharp edges and iron chips
inside the cavity
- Full CNC programming realizes one-time clamping forming, ensuring
the consistency of cavity coaxiality and hole position accuracy
4. Machining Accuracy & Usage Requirements
Machining Accuracy:
- Dimensional tolerance: ±0.015mm, strictly matching the assembly
clearance of internal components
- Geometric tolerance: flatness of cavity bottom surface ≤0.03mm,
hole position coaxiality ≤0.02mm
- Surface roughness: Ra≤1.6μm, smooth and burr-free inside the
cavity, meeting the installation requirements of precision
components
Usage Requirements:
- Adapt to a conventional working environment of -20℃~60℃, can
withstand static installation load ≥500N
- No deformation or loosening during long-term use, ensuring the
positioning accuracy and operation stability of internal components
- The inside of the cavity needs to maintain high cleanliness to
avoid impurities affecting component performance
5. Heat Treatment
With heat treatment, adopting solution treatment + artificial aging (T6 state) process.
- Core purpose: eliminate processing internal stress, improve
material strength and dimensional stability, avoid warpage and
deformation of the cavity after long-term use, and ensure the
lasting consistency of installation accuracy.
6. Post-treatment
Natural color brushing treatment, retaining the original metallic texture of aluminum alloy.
- Process advantages: improve surface wear resistance and scratch
resistance, optimize appearance texture, enhance the cleanliness
retention inside the cavity, facilitate visual inspection and
assembly positioning inside the equipment, fully meeting
environmental protection requirements.
7. Quality Control
Implement a full-process closed-loop quality control system,
strictly complying with ISO9001 quality standards:
- Raw material incoming: spectral material inspection to ensure alloy
composition and mechanical performance meet standards
- Processing process: 100% geometric tolerance inspection, real-time
monitoring of cavity size and flatness
- Final product inspection: appearance defect inspection, full
dimensional inspection, cleanliness inspection, traceable
inspection report for each batch
- Pre-delivery: internal cleaning treatment of the cavity to ensure
no iron chips and impurities, meeting precision assembly
