Acid fluorescencent yellow spray

Purpose

Develop blood fingerprints on dark surface. Applicable to non-porous materials, not to be used on porous surface.

Composition

1 bottle of fixative (200ml); 1 bottle of dye (200 ml); 1 bottle of clearing agent (200ml).

Specifications

Working principle

The acidic fluorescein crystal sticks to the protein in the blood to produce yellow blood fingerprint. Expose the exhibit to blue light to produce yellow fluorescence.

Method

A. Fix the prints: to prevent the acidic fluorescein crystal from damaging the ridge details, before being dyed, the blood fingerprint should be dried or fixed with blood fixative.

B. Dye the prints: hold the dye spray and press the nozzle trigger to spray the dye on the entire surface of the exhibit.

C. Flush the prints: hold the clearing agent spray and press the nozzle trigger to spray the clearing agent on the exhibit. Remove the dye on the background of the exhibit until the print is fully developed.

D. View the fluorescence: dry the exhibit with hot air, irradiate the fingerprint with the 450nm light, view the exhibit through a barrier filter, and the fluorescent yellow fingerprint can be seen. Note: The fluorescence effect is not good when the exhibit is wet.

After 30 seconds of blood fixation, the acid fluorescent yellow dye is sprayed on the object

Clean with detergent

After the exhibit is dried, irradiate it with 450nm light and wear 450nm filter glasses to observe the effect on the white object
